The cat trapeze is not as well-known as a climbing tree, while it is at least as much fun for the cat. All the playing opportunities are the most fun for kittens; they will romp around it at an early age.
Some cats keep playing till they’re older. Cats can climb and clamber in the trapeze. Activities are very important for cats; for their mental and physical health. That is why it is good to offer them a variety of playing and climbing opportunities. The cat trapeze may therefore be a good choice, in addition to a scratching post, and interactive play with your cat.
It is a cloth-covered playing and climbing object that you suspend from the ceiling, so that cats can rest or sleep in them as well as play or climb in them. Just like a climbing tree, it is suitable for any cat; the difference is that it doesn’t have a special scratching part. But the cats can clamber from one storey to another via the side connections.
What makes the trapeze even more interesting is jazzing up the design (also suitable for climbing trees). Personally, I am always thinking of new ideas for things to suspend from my cats’ trapeze, so that they are constantly having to climb up the top in order to try to get the highest item. It is fun and attractive to the cat when, for example, the feathers can flutter back and forth in the wind when the window is open!

In my living room there are peacock feathers, other kinds of feathers, strings, pipe cleaners, and tinkle bells hanging down. By the way, my cats don’t eat weird things, so it is safe to leave them there. This may not be the case for every cat; be careful when you pick objects to suspend from the trapeze for your cat.
